SwimMAC Swim School offers MiniMAC, Preschool, and Grade school classes, along with Mommy & Me classes and elementary-age group lessons. The program also offers adult lessons, adult beginners classes, Adult Group Lessons, private lessons, stroke refinement sessions, and lap swim. Competitive options include programs for triathlon swimmers, competitive swimmers in open water and swim meets, and fitness swimmers, as well as a Masters & Adult Fitness program and an Adult-Learn-to Swim Program (ALTS).

SwimMAC Swim School is part of SwimMAC Carolina, which was established as the Mecklenburg Aquatic Club in 1977. SwimMAC Carolina is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that offers swimming programs for people of all ages and experience levels and has expanded into a seven-facility network. The program provides aquatic instruction and training for nearly 10,000 people in the Charlotte region each year and offers programs for students of all ages and at all levels of experience in small group or individual settings. Instructors focus on fun methods to teach safety and proper technique, use a skill progression structure that sets students up for success and establishes a strong foundation, and aim to instill a love of swimming so that children and families enter the sport with an opportunity for lifelong enrichment. Competitive age group and adult classes offer a pathway of continued education in the sport, and the Masters & Adult Fitness program welcomes people of any ability level, including Adult-Learn-to Swim Program (ALTS) participants, competitive swimmers, triathlon swimmers, and fitness swimmers. SwimMAC Carolina’s mission is to empower young people to be champions in life through excellence in swimming. The organization is a nationally ranked competitive swim club, is the reigning champion for the third year in a row with 88,076 points, has held Gold Medal status for 20 years, and has been rated the #1 swim club in the country. The leadership team includes Martha Hocutt (Director of Developmental Swimming), Chandra Dominguez (Manager, North - HFFA), Nicolle Hollmon (Manager, South - Charlotte Latin), Paul Rill (Facility Manager, Latin Facility), Tom Avischious (Head of Business Management), Jen Bronson (Pre-Comp/MAC Fit North - HFFA), and Carrie Andrews (Pre-Comp/MAC Fit South - Charlotte Latin).
