SwimMAC Carolina offers Mini-Mac for ages 6 months to 2 years, Preschool for ages 3 to 5, Grade School for ages 6 to 12, Teen Lessons for ages 12 to 17, Adult Lessons, MAC Fit for ages 10 to 17, Pre-Comp for ages 6 to 13, Competitive Teams, Adult Group Lessons for ages 18 and over, Masters, and Private Lessons for all ages. Adult Group Lessons are described as a beginner group lesson, with lessons ranging from blowing bubbles and floating to recreational swimming for fitness. Private Lessons provide individualized coaching tailored to the swimmer’s age, ability, and goals.

- Masters — Welcomes people of any ability level; categories include Adult-Learn-to Swim Program (ALTS), Competitive Swimmers (Open Water & Swim Meets), Triathlon Swimmers, and Fitness Swimmers.
- Private Lessons — All ages · Individualized coaching tailored to swimmer’s age, ability, and goals; available at North (Huntersville HFFA) and South (Charlotte Latin).

About the provider
SwimMAC Carolina was established as the Mecklenburg Aquatic Club in 1977. The club is described as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a nationally ranked competitive swim club. It is also described as the reigning champion for the third year in a row and having Gold Medal status. The program provides aquatic instruction and training for nearly 10,000 people in the Charlotte region each year. Its mission is to empower young people to be champions in life through excellence in swimming.
Programs are offered for people of all ages and experience levels. Swim School classes include MiniMAC, Preschool, Grade school, Adult, and Private Lessons. Instructors focus on fun, safety, proper technique, and skill progression in a positive, supportive environment.
