The Cain Center for the Arts facility opened in 2023. The leadership team includes Founding Board President Greg Wessling and Visual Art & Education Director Simone El Bey. The visual arts program showcases artists from multiple mediums, and art is often displayed throughout the facility, not limited to gallery walls. There is no fee for admission to the gallery or to attend any visual arts receptions, and each artist receives a 60% commission for pieces sold during an exhibit. Home Grown is an annual mixed media exhibit with no jury.

Cain Center for the Arts partners with Hinds’ Feet Farm, and together they will collaborate on a mural that will be displayed on Hinds’ Feet Farm property, including a “Barn Quilt” on the barn. The mural opportunity is a paid opportunity with a submission approval process and a winner selected by a panel of judges. Views: City Life is presented in partnership with ArtFields, an arts organization based in Lake City, South Carolina.

“Community involvement and engagement will be the catalyst and strength for this expansion. Businesses want to be where people get together. Having fun along the way is just a bonus. This is going to be a great ride,” according to Founding Board President Greg Wessling. “I love all of the art exhibits because they each encompass at least one component of our core values. There is truly something for everyone here,” according to Susan Irvin of Irvin Law Group.
