Kindermusik offers in-person or virtual classes that include sound exploration, listening activities, dances, vocal play, object exploration, and bonding techniques. Other classes include singing, dancing, instrument play, basic music concepts, music symbols, music notation, and ensembles.
Programs
- Foundations — 0-12 months · In-person or virtual class; includes sound exploration, listening activities, dances, vocal play, object exploration, and bonding techniques.
- Level 1 — 12-24 months · Young toddlers explore new movements, objects, and words, while learning basic music concepts.
- Level 2 — 2-3 years · Classes include singing, dancing, and instrument play, with grownups learning how to help unpack big emotions with music.
- Level 3 — 3-5 years · Music is used to boost language skills, confidence, social-emotional skills, self-control, and more. Parents and caregivers join a portion of each class.
- Level 4 — 4-6 years · Children explore basic music symbols and more complex instruments.
- Kindermusik Musicians — 5-7 years · Classes introduce music notation, new and complex instruments, and different genres of music. Children participate in ensembles.
- Mixed Age — 0-7 years · Designed for infants through seven-year-olds to make music and get the wiggles out together.

About the provider
In 1978, Dan Pratt introduced the first Kindermusik class. Kindermusik says it is based in North Carolina and spread the power of music around the world. Its mission is to nurture confidence and joy through the power of music and to spread the power and joy of shared music-making as a vital learning experience for young children and families.
