In Motion Dance Center Summer Camps & Classes offers Young Dancer Camps with theme-based music, crafts, activities, and dancing. It also offers Weekly Dance Classes, Back to Dance Boot Camps, Summer Private Lesson & Group Sessions, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Tap, Acrobatics & Tumbling, Creative Dance, and Stretch & Strength.

Programs

• Young Dancer Camps — 3-7 · 9:00 AM-12:00 PM · $210 per week · Theme based music, crafts, activities, and dancing; minimum of 8 required for camp to hold; multi-camp discounts available.
• Weekly Dance Classes — 4-week session; one or both days per week · $72–$130 · For children to continue dance training into the summer or begin classes for the first time; minimum of 6 required for the class to be held.
• Back to Dance Boot Camps — 6 and up · $75–$140
• Summer Private Lesson & Group Sessions — all ages and experience levels · $45–$65 · Private lessons and group training; can be individual or in a group of up to 5 dancers; cost depends on length of session and how many dancers it is split between.

About the provider

Michelle Nicholson is the Director. In Motion Dance Center states it is in its 31st year of service in the Winston-Salem community. It is recognized locally, regionally, and nationally, including 2018, 2022, and 2025 National Studio of the Year for Technique at DanceMakers Inc.; it is also a CLI Studios partner and host venue for Manhattan Dance Project.

Summer deposit is refundable until May 1st; after that date, deposits are only transferrable, not refundable. Minimum enrollment is required for some camps and classes to hold. For dancers 13 or older, class selection is by type of class rather than specific class placement.
