In Motion Dance Center Summer Camps & Classes offers dance training through dance classes, a tumbling program, and Back to Dance Boot Camps. Young Dancer Camps include theme based music, craft, activities, and dancing. The program also offers workshops as part of its summer options.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Young Dancer Camps run 9:00AM–12:00PM; Weekly Dance Classes are offered in two 4-week sessions; Back to Dance Boot Camps are offered on specific days and times listed on the schedule
• Price: Young Dancer Camps cost $210 per week with multi-camp discounts available; Weekly Dance Classes cost $72.00 for one 4-week session or $130.00 for both sessions; Back to Dance Boot Camps cost $75 for one day or $140 for two days; a 50% summer deposit is drafted within 3–5 business days of registration, is refundable until May 1st, is only transferrable after that date, and the remaining fees are due by the first day of the dancer’s camp or class.
As it enters its 30th year of service in the Winston-Salem community, In Motion Dance Center states that it is dedicated to providing quality dance instruction for all ages from 2 1/2 to adult through studio classes and on-site programs for specialty areas, and that it strives to provide an enthusiastic learning environment which allows students the opportunity to study a variety of interests. Faculty at In Motion Dance Center has been selected for training and performance background as well as teaching credentials and experience. In Motion Dance Center is recognized locally, regionally, and nationally, including honors such as 2018, 2022, and 2025 National Studio of the Year for Technique at DanceMakers Inc., and it has been chosen to be a CLI STUDIOS partner, providing access to classes and material taught by world-renowned choreographers. In Motion Dance Center is a host venue for Manhattan Dance Project workshops when they come to Winston-Salem, NC, and it awards both an annual scholarship and a summer scholarship based on faculty observation. Summer 2025 registration is open, a minimum of 8 dancers is required for camps to be held, a minimum of 6 dancers is required for weekly classes to be held, and the program also maintains an online spirit store.
