Amphibian Foundation Programs include hands-on experiences with animals at Critter Café and a year-long gap-year immersive training program called the Conservation Research Bridge Program. The programs also include Venomous Programs and a Copperhead Hotline, as well as work with captive survival-assurance colonies for Frosted and Reticulated Flatwoods Salamanders and the only ex situ population of Frosted Flatwoods Salamanders in the world at the time described. The programs cover topics such as urban ecology and conservation, emergent infectious disease biology, and community science engagement, and they are described as globally acclaimed and award-winning programs that fund conservation.

In 2016, the Amphibian Foundation was founded with the single purpose of stopping the extinction of the Frosted Flatwoods Salamander. AF is dedicated to connecting individuals, communities, and organizations in order to create and implement lasting solutions to the global amphibian extinction crisis. AF has partnerships and connections with organizations and entities including San Antonio Zoo, Blue Heron Nature Preserve, Legacy Park (Decatur, GA), Agnes Scott College, Turner Foundation, Captain Planet Foundation, Orianne Society, ScienceATL/Atlanta Science Festival, Georgia State University, USGS - Amphibian Research & Monitoring Initiative, Georgia Department of Natural Resources (retired), Army Corps of Engineers, US Fish and Wildlife Service, and The Manchester Museum. The leadership and staff team includes roles such as Founder and Executive Director, Director of Education, Research Coordinator, Conservation Collections Coordinator, Urban Ecologist, Amphibian Disease Biologist, Venomous Programs Coordinator, Invasion Biologist, Bridge Program Coordinator, Field Biologist, Consulting Biologist, Education and Virtual Education staff, Events and Communications staff, Content and Magazine staff, Web Developer, Venom Instructors, Copperhead Hotline Coordinator, and Copperhead Hotline Response Team.
