French Hill Farm Riding Academy offers riding lessons in English riding for students using school horses that are carefully chosen for their quiet temperaments, good manners, and their abilities to help students learn the fundamentals of riding from the beginner to the intermediate/advanced level. Lessons can include learning to jump over a course of jumps for students who wish to and are capable of participating. The program also offers summer camps, boarding and training, and a show schedule.

French Hill Farm Riding Academy opened its doors in 1997. The goal of the program is to teach students how to ride, handle, and groom horses safely and to the best of their ability. Instructors at the Riding Academy are USHJA certified and have many years of riding and teaching experience. One testimonial describes French Hill Farm as “the most beautiful, people friendly and supportive barn I know of,” and another says it “is my daughter’s absolute favorite place to be.” Tours are available by appointment only, and families are asked to call ahead to set up a time and gain gate access.
