The Rose Theater Youth Classes include options where children take part in song and dance, musical theater, dance, voice, and acting skills. Some classes rehearse and perform in a musical, create original stories, make their own dances from a show, create their own characters from a story, mold an original scene and short performance, or focus on theater design with sets and puppets.
• Ages: 2–15 years old
• Schedule: Class options run on weekdays and Saturdays between September 6, 2025, and May 2, 2026, with individual sessions ranging from early January to late April or May.
• Price: Tuition ranges from $35 per month to $500 per session, depending on the specific class.
For over 75 years, the Omaha Theater Company has served generations of children and families in the Omaha area. The Rose Theater Youth Classes are part of this work and follow the mission “to enrich the lives of children and families through live theater arts and education.” The Rose Theater’s staff is composed of award-winning actors, and the Literary Manager is Brian Guehring. The Rose Theater Guild supports these programs through volunteers who raise funds and awareness. One parent shared, “As a Rose member our family has been given the gift of spending more meaningful time together.”
