JCC Abrams Camps has been a trusted choice for campers, families, and staff since 1960. The mission of JCC Abrams Camps is to create a nurturing, inclusive environment that inspires children to explore their interests, develop new skills, and build friendships, blending Jewish values, enriching activities, and the spirit of adventure so campers grow in confidence, character, and community. The camp uses a values framework called CAMPERSHIP, which stands for Adventure, Accountability, Belonging, Mitzvot, Respect, and Spirit, and has a camper-to-staff ratio that exceeds state requirements.

The camp is organized into units and bunks, including Garinim for the youngest pre-school campers, Shorashim for early elementary-age campers, Anafim for middle elementary-age campers, Gozalim Travel for tweens, Teen Travel for teens, and Madrichim for 10th-grade camp leaders in training. The Teen Travel program includes daily trips and overnight adventures such as visits to amusement parks, beaches, and hotel overnights. Specialists lead activities in specific fields such as arts, sports, or outdoor activities, and the camp culture is rooted in kindness and emotional safety.

The leadership team includes Kim Sussman as Program Director, Debra Radin as Director of Camper & Staff Wellness, Matt Strober as Teen Travel Director, and Robin Smolarz as Early Childhood Director. Senior staff members serve as Medical Health Director, Behavioral Health Director, and Aquatics Director, and Unit Directors are experienced camp staff with a background in education. The leadership team focuses on creating a safe, joyful, and welcoming environment for campers and staff.
