The Goddard School of Flanders offers activities such as American Sign Language, chess, dance, dramatic arts, music appreciation, handwriting, and space engineering. Dennis and Andrea have been the on-site owners of The Goddard School of Flanders since 2005. Dennis holds Economics and Accounting degrees from Rutgers University and Montclair State University, and Andrea holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Both Dennis and Andrea are certified in Pediatric First Aid and CPR. The school uses health and safety features that include a disinfectant sprayer, EPA-approved cleaning products, finger guards, a gate alarm, and outdoor security cameras. The program uses the Wonder of Learning education program, has tenured teachers, and offers programs from infants and toddlers to pre-K, kindergarten and beyond, as well as a Summer Camp. The Goddard School of Flanders was Cognia accredited from January 2018 to January 2023. Their stated mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment suited to promoting children's development of self esteem and confidence, as well as their social and academic success.
