THE R CHILD offers Baby Explorer, where babies and grown-ups take part in music, games, motor activities, and sensory play, and Baby Explorer Level 2, which includes music and games for now-crawling babies who are beginning to walk. It also offers Little Explorer Level 1 and Little Explorer 2hr Drop off, both Montessori-based programs, as well as LEGO® Engineering, Junior LEGO Robotics 1, Junior LEGO Robotics 2, Advanced LEGO Robotics, Junior Robotics Competition, VEX GO Robotics, Minecraft Coding Level 1 (Block-based), and 3D Printing.

• Baby Explorer Level 2 — 1 - 1.5 yrs · Tue, 11:00am - 11:45am · Fort Lee. 10 students. Designed for babies that are now-crawling and beginning to walk, with music and games that support social skills, gestures, vocabulary, and language.
• Little Explorer Level 1 — 1.5 - 3 yrs · Mon, Wed 11:00am - 12:15pm · Fort Lee. 5 students. A Montessori-based program that supports and stimulates early development and school readiness.
• Little Explorer 2hr Drop off — 2.5 - 4 yrs · Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri 8:45am - 10:45am · Fort Lee. 5 students. A Montessori-based program that supports and stimulates early development and school readiness.
• LEGO® Engineering — 4-5 · Program includes beginner and intermediate lessons. Kids build LEGO® models, think like scientists, and use science, technology, engineering, art, and math skills.
• Junior LEGO Robotics 1 — Kids build simple LEGO® robots and learn to control them with beginner-friendly code.
• Junior LEGO Robotics 2 — More advanced LEGO® robots and more independent coding that helps develop problem-solving skills while working as a team.
• Advanced LEGO Robotics — Students build complex LEGO® models, face multi-step coding challenges and design their own engineering solutions.
• Junior Robotics Competition — First taste of competition, with team challenges and presenting solutions.
• VEX GO Robotics — A hands-on bridge from LEGO® to VEX® robotics, featuring motorized models and block-based coding.
• Minecraft Coding Level 1 (Block-based) — Kids learn block-based coding with Minecraft Education Edition, program their own Agent, and conduct practical experiments.
• 3D Printing — Students design their own models in CAD software and bring them to life on 3D printers.

About the provider

THE R CHILD started in a small studio in Cliffside Park, NJ in 2016. The founder is Mrs. Elena Melamed. The program is STEM-accredited and lists Award Winning Robotics Teams, 11+ Years Experience Serving Local Schools, and Qualified Instructors.
