Adventures in Learning II

Adventures in Learning offers a creative, play-based curriculum that includes activities such as play, sensory materials, music, STEM, yoga, outdoor games, and outdoor play. Children take part in bilingual English-Spanish interactions through purposeful play, circle time, bilingual stories, songs, and bilingual English-Spanish enrichment. The program also includes group projects, music and movement, homework support, and After Care and Summer Programs with fun hands-on activities, healthy snacks, and enriching experiences.

• Ages: 8 weeks–6 years old
• Schedule: Open Monday through Friday, with flexible options for children to attend two to five days per week

The infant curriculum includes exploration through play, sensory materials, and bilingual English-Spanish interactions. The toddler program includes purposeful play, circle time, and outdoor games in English and Spanish. Preschool Prep includes bilingual stories, songs, STEM, yoga, and group projects, and the preschool program blends literacy, math, science, and bilingual arts with music and movement. The After-School Program offers homework support, bilingual English-Spanish enrichment, STEM, yoga, music, outdoor play, and focuses on executive functioning, critical thinking, and peer relationships.

Each member of the Adventures in Learning team is CPR-certified and holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Staff receive hands-on training in child development, safety protocols, and engaging, play-based learning methods, and complete at least six professional development sessions each year. The program uses secure entry systems, regular safety drills, first-aid trained staff, and strict check-in/check-out procedures. Families receive daily updates, photos, videos, announcements, and messages through a parent communication app, along with regular newsletters and progress reports.

Adventures in Learning states that its mission is for caring teachers to nurture each child’s growth in a safe, joyful environment, bridging home and early education with love. Centers offer rolling enrollment throughout the year, subject to availability, flexible scheduling from two to five days per week with a choice of specific days, and extended hours with early drop-off and late pickup.
