COMPASS Learning Advantage

COMPASS Learning Advantage offers Compass Baby, private swim classes, group swim classes, empowerment classes, reading accelerator classes, school break camps, and birthday parties or events. Compass Baby includes land sensory and motor development classes, and it also offers water parent-and-me group swim. The swim program includes one-to-one private lessons and small-group lessons, and the school break camps are held in the clubhouse and swimming pool.

• Compass Baby — 6 weeks–2.5 years · $30–$175 per class · Land sensory & motor development: $30 drop-in or $175 for unlimited classes per month. Water parent & me group swim also offered.
• Private Swim Classes — 6 months–adult · One-to-one private lessons at XCEL Pool, 125 Marshall Street, 7th floor, Hoboken. Trial class available; shared lessons also offered.
• Group Swim Classes — 6 months–adult · Weekly sessions · Small-group swim lessons at XCEL Pool, Hoboken. Group size is 4 or 6 and class length is 60 min (30 min for baby).
• Empowerment Classes — 4-10 · Brain & Social Power Classes for focus, memory, self-control, and social confidence.
• Reading Accelerator Classes — 3-10 · Personalized group reading support that builds skill, confidence, and the courage to try.
• School Break Camps — 4-10 · School-break, summer, and spring camps in the Clubhouse and swimming pool.

COMPASS Learning Advantage says it has been helping children thrive for 25 years. The program’s mission is "Learning designed around your child" and says it offers individualized, inclusive programs in learning, swimming, and camps, built around how each child learns best. The leadership team includes Jordanna Spaulding as Owner and Director, Claudia as Teacher, Danny as Swim Director, Rupa as Business Development Director, Jashil as Swim Instructor, Vishva as Instructor, Jahmir as Instructor, Boomie the Therapy Dog, Anthony as Instructor, and Frances as Swim Instructor.

• Party / event — Birthday party and event venue; rent the space for a child's birthday, any event, or even a class you run.

Inclusion is emphasized. Some families come with a diagnosis; others do not. The site says every child is welcome and taught individually. Private lessons have a limited one trial per child or adult, and shared lessons require a minimum three-month membership.
