The Madison Community Pool has been a summer tradition since 1968. It was founded by local residents as a private, community-focused nonprofit and later transitioned in 2026 to ownership and operations by the Borough of Madison. The Borough has established a volunteer Community Pool Advisory Board that focuses on enhancing operations, strengthening programming, and preserving Madison Community Pool as a long-valued community asset. The pool’s mission states that it is designed for swimmers of all ages and abilities and offers a safe, welcoming environment to learn new skills, stay active, and enjoy time with family and friends.
