Silton Swim School offers swim instruction in water that is heated to 86 degrees. The program operates with separate spring and summer office hours and has an on-site swim shop called Savvy’s Swim Shop that is open on Saturday mornings.
• Ages: 3–13 years old
• Schedule: Spring and summer office hours on weekdays, with limited Saturday hours
Over the past six decades, late owner and director Robert A. Leete Jr. taught children how to swim and be safe in the water. The school is a family business now directed by Nancy J. Leete and Danielle Nestler, who are the wife and granddaughter of Robert A. Leete Jr. The program follows a mission that emphasizes an educationally proven program with professional instruction, communication, repetition, and maximum comfortable exposure supported by heating the water to 86 degrees. Spring office hours run Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Summer office hours run Monday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM; and are closed on Sunday. Savvy’s Swim Shop is open from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturdays.
