Camp Blue Star includes activities such as treasure hunts in groups, Olympics-style events, gym games, kickball, knockout, whiffle-ball, soccer, swimming in a pool, and launching rockets that go up in the air and float back down. Campers also have access to Nintendo Wii gaming systems with Wii Fit and virtual reality technology through the Wii Lab, a mobile computer lab with wireless Dell laptops, a 34 foot horizontal rock climbing wall, and Gaga in a 24 ft Gaga Pit. The program uses special themed weeks such as USA 250, Harry Potter Week, AI Week, Pirates and Privateers Week, Wild West Week, Sports Week, and Michael Week, with fun and challenging events planned for each theme.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm, with weekly sign-ups and wrap-around care available from 7:00am to 6:00pm
Camp Blue Star is in its 25th season and is developed by the Hamilton Township Schools Community Education Department. The camp’s mission states that it offers an exceptional day camp experience within a state-of-the-art facility designed to inspire exploration and growth, with special themed weeks that encourage campers to try different activities and expand their horizons through theme-based programs and hands-on learning across academic areas.
