Kids College & Summer Academy

Kids College & Summer Academy offers courses that include Animation and Stop Motion Techniques, Cakes and Cakes Decorating, Roblox Makers and Coders, Roblox Makers, Roblox Coders, Ultimate Cookie Lab, Street Foods of the World, and CSI Camp. The program also lists an Introduction to Anime class, which has been cancelled, and a Street Foods of the World class, which has been cancelled. In the Roblox Makers and Coders, Roblox Makers, and Roblox Coders classes, students create games and projects, and these student-created games and projects are available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family.

• Schedule: Courses are offered Monday through Thursday, with most full-day options running 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m. and some half-day Roblox options running 9 a.m.–12 p.m. or 12:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m.

For Animation and Stop Motion Techniques, Cakes and Cakes Decorating, Roblox Makers and Coders, Introduction to Anime, Ultimate Cookie Lab, and Street Foods of the World, classes meet Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Roblox Makers meets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Roblox Coders meets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Students work in pairs or teams for most of the Roblox programs. Closed-toed shoes and long pants are required for Cakes and Cakes Decorating, Ultimate Cookie Lab, and Street Foods of the World. Families are instructed to register using the student’s name and date of birth for the Kids College & Summer Academy program, and in addition to course registration and payment, a form must be filled out to complete required registration documents.
