YMCA Summer Camp

YMCA of Metuchen, Edison, Woodbridge and South Amboy Youth Programs and Camps offers swim lessons, water safety and water exercise, child care, early learning, before and after school enrichment programs, youth sports, wellness programs, and job training. The program takes place across multiple branches and facilities that include an outdoor pool, ten childcare centers, ten day camps, Oakcrest Community Pool, Raritan Rapids Spray Park, and the YMCA at the Piscataway Community Center.

The YMCA of Metuchen, Edison, Woodbridge and South Amboy opened in 1921. Over time, it expanded from the original Metuchen branch to include two additional branches in Edison and South Amboy. It is the largest provider of childcare services in Middlesex County and offers YMCA360 for on-demand and livestream classes. The organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit social services organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. Laura Muñoz Humphreys serves as President and CEO of the YMCA of Metuchen, Edison, Woodbridge & South Amboy (MEWSA). The YMCA of MEWSA holds Praesidium Accreditation, which publicly demonstrates that it has achieved the highest industry standards in abuse prevention. Over 1,000 volunteers support the organization in serving more than 35,000 people every year, and it provides access to programs, memberships, child care, and swim lessons for those who need it most, in partnership with donors through an Annual Support Campaign.
