About
One River School Summer Camps offers studio art, digital art, design, and animation camps. All camp sessions run for two and a half hours and include a 15-minute break each day. Lesson plans draw inspiration from contemporary artists, and projects are age-appropriate, engaging, and reflective of the world around students.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Morning, afternoon, and late afternoon camp options in two-and-a-half-hour sessions
One River School has transformed the summer camp experience by developing creative camps. Over 100 weekly half and full day camp options are available over 10 weeks, and families can bundle morning and afternoon camps for a full day experience. The program offers seamless camp switch options throughout the summer into a new camp with availability. Summer camps are led by practicing artists, designers, and animators. All tools and materials are provided, except for Procreate camps where campers need to bring their own iPad and stylus. The weekly structure includes Monday Creative Ideation, Tuesday Meet the Artist, Wednesday Learn Technique, Thursday Skill Building, and Friday Show Time. Families are instructed to pack a light, nut-free snack and a water bottle, and if a camper is staying for the whole day, to pack a nut-free lunch. Campers are asked to wear comfortable, art-friendly clothing. For morning camps, drop off begins at 8:45 am.
