About
MPAC Performing Arts School offers classes in Musical Theatre, Acting, and Voice. The program is part of MPAC’s Performing Arts School, which serves over 1,000 students annually and provides training in a nurturing and supportive atmosphere. MPAC presents over 200 events annually, and Atlantic Health is MPAC’s Official Health & Wellness Partner.

Since 1994, MPAC has been the heart of arts and entertainment in the Northern New Jersey region. Mayo Performing Arts Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, presents a wide range of programs that entertain, enrich, and educate the diverse population of the region and enhance the economic vitality of Northern New Jersey. MPAC’s Community Engagement initiatives take the arts beyond the theatre’s walls and into the community through free Arts in the Community concerts and events, arts education programs in underserved communities, and collaborative partnerships with area nonprofits. Mayo Performing Arts Center has been designated a Major Presenting Organization by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, was named 2016 Outstanding Historic Theatre by the League of Historic American Theatres, and is ranked in the top 50 mid-sized performing arts centers by Pollstar Magazine. The leadership team includes President & CEO Allison Larena along with staff in areas such as finance, operations, marketing, development, community engagement, education, production, programming, branding, and front of house management. MPAC drives over $18 million back into the local economy every year.
