Mayo Performing Arts Center Education & Outreach Programs

Mayo Performing Arts Center Education & Outreach Programs includes the Performing Arts School, Performing Arts Company, PAS On the Road, Field Trips, Miracle Project, Spring Musical, Residencies, and School Programs and Student Recognition. The Performing Arts School serves ages 3 through adult and runs on a 14-week Fall and Spring semester and throughout the summer. Mayo Performing Arts Center has offered these programs since 1994. The organization states that it presents a wide range of programs that entertain, enrich, and educate the diverse population of the region and enhance the economic vitality of Northern New Jersey. Over 40,000 children and their families participate in theatre classes, field trip performances, workshops, seminars, student recognition programs, and enrichment opportunities. Community engagement initiatives include free Arts in the Community concerts and events, arts education programs in underserved communities, collaborative partnerships with area nonprofits, free concerts, dance parties, arts participation events, the Juneteenth Arts Celebration, and Theatre of Light.
