About
ENA Gymnastics Camps and Classes offers Arts/Crafts/Gymnastics Camp, All Gymnastics Camp, a general gymnastics program, Junior Gymnastics, and advanced gymnastics classes. Camp and class activities can include gymnastics training on equipment such as a Tumble Track, trampoline, in-ground trampoline, Resi-lite pits, balance beam stations, and an oversized spring floor, as well as an age appropriate obstacle course. The program also offers gymnastics birthday parties where the birthday child flies in the FAMOUS HARNESS.
• Ages: 18 months–18 years old
• Schedule: Arts/Crafts/Gymnastics Camp is offered Tuesday–Friday from 9am–1pm in weekly sessions, and All Gymnastics Camp is offered Monday–Friday from 9am–1pm in weekly sessions across multiple weeks in the summer.
• Price: Arts/Crafts/Gymnastics Camp is $70 per day, and All Gymnastics Camp is $70 per day; on Fridays at All Gymnastics Camp, pizza is available to purchase for lunch at $2 cash per slice.
For Arts/Crafts/Gymnastics Camp, children are asked to bring a snack, lunch, and drinks for the day, and on Fridays pizza is offered as an option to purchase for lunch. For All Gymnastics Camp, children are asked to bring a lunch and drinks, and on Fridays campers should bring a bathing suit and towel and $2 cash per slice of pizza. All Gymnastics Camp spends time outdoors every Friday, weather permitting, with ice pops, water balloon activities, a slip and slide, and soaking the teachers.
Boys and girls may wear tucked-in T-shirts and shorts, or leotards for girls, with hair pulled neatly and securely away from the face, no chewing gum or dangling jewelry, and activity-appropriate footwear. Personal items are to be left in cubby holes, jewelry should be left at home, students are asked to arrive 5 minutes before their scheduled class time (no earlier), and they are to be picked up on time.
ENA Gymnastics offers birthday party packages that include an hour of activities in the gym and 30 minutes in the party lounge, with full use of the facility and the entire gym shut down for the party. ENA Party Specialists run the gymnastics and/or cheer portion of the party and help set up, serve, and clean up the Party Lounge, and the birthday child receives an ENA medal while each paid party child receives a ribbon.
According to the program’s mission statement, Eastern National Academy of Gymnastics believes that gymnastics training provides a foundation in physical fitness by emphasizing strength, flexibility, and coordination, and aims to develop each student’s self-discipline, self-confidence, enthusiasm, and gymnastics skills. ENA’s USAG Girls team is described as State, Regionally and Nationally known for an award-winning competitive program, and ENA’s competitive Xcel program won the team title for Xcel at the Manhattan Classic held in New York City. The leadership team includes Craig Zappa, and the program notes copyright as “All Rights Reserved © ENA GYMNASTICS 2019.”
One parent testimonial states, “My daughter loves the classes and is becoming a better athlete every week,” attributed to Katherine, an ENA parent since 2010. The program also notes that the facility can train anyone from a curious tot to a high level athlete and that there is easy online enrollment for classes.
