Pulse handpicks its coaching staff from thousands of applicants and employs highly qualified professional sports coaches who all have at least 3 years of coaching experience and a variety of specialist qualifications. All coaches are First Aid and CPR Certified, and Pulse employs both male and female staff members, hiring candidates primarily from the United States and Europe, among others. All programs have been redesigned to follow the latest safety guidelines based on updated guidance from the CDC, ACA, and state Health Departments.

The United Soccer Academy and US Sports Institute, which are connected to Pulse through USA Sport Group, have been providing soccer education programming and sports courses to communities for over 15 years. They have worked with over 500 organizations across the United States, including Recreation Departments, YMCAs, JCCs, school districts, and other private organizations and clubs that require sports programming.

Pulse Premier Sports Camps follow a multi-level core curriculum created and delivered by experienced sports education professionals. The mission centers on coaching principles that include fun, continuous one-on-one feedback, defined session aims and objectives, a balance of technical and tactical approaches, an emphasis on free thinking and personal development, no parent involvement, competitive play in a positive format, and a positive, developmental environment.

For equipment, all necessary gear is provided for Basketball and Multi Sports. Soccer players need shin guards and cleats or soccer sneakers, tennis participants must bring their own racquet, and volleyball participants need their own knee pads, appropriate sneakers, and other protective equipment. All golf programs require participants to bring their own set of clubs and follow the dress code. All campers are required to arrive in sports-appropriate clothing and footwear, with sun protection such as sunscreen and a hat, snacks, and plenty of water or fluids for the day. Campers should pack a bathing suit and towel for swim, and may include a second bathing suit if attending a full-day program at either The Pingry School or Essex County Country Club where players swim twice, and any required medication or Epi-pen.
