Spring Lake Day Camp offers a wide range of activities including baseball, softball, football, soccer, lacrosse, tennis, basketball, floor hockey, Ga-Ga, climbing towers, high and low ropes elements, and zip lines through the trees and over the lake. Campers can also take part in beach volleyball, indoor dance, gymnastics, arts and crafts, fine arts, jewelry design, sewing, ceramics, cooking, martial arts, discovery science, nature, archery, music, drama, boating, fishing, and swimming.

Spring Lake Day Camp was founded in 1989 and has been family owned and operated by the Kessler family since its opening. The camp is owned and directed by Mitchell and Michelle Kessler. SLDC staff members are described as mature, professional and dedicated individuals, and a complete background check is done on all staff members. The modern on-site health facility is supervised by registered nurses, who also chaperone out-of-camp trips. The camp states that its mission is to enhance self-confidence in campers, develop their leadership and communication skills and provide a beneficial and positive summer experience. Spring Lake Day Camp is an American Camping Association (ACA) accredited camp and a member of the American Camping Association. The camp offers door-to-door transportation using Department of Transportation approved mini-buses equipped with seat belts, GPS tracking, air conditioning, and 5-point harness car seats for Pre-K aged campers, with a van counselor on each bus carrying a cell phone to maintain communication. The camp has an open door visitation policy during the eight weeks of camp, with advance notice requested. A healthy main lunch entrée with side dishes and dessert is prepared daily on-site, with multiple alternative options. Spring Lake Day Camp is also available for corporate, school and family special events with event planning expertise and catering.
