• Ages: 4–16 years old
• Schedule: Spring and Summer camps run in half-day, full-day, and extended-day lengths for five days, and Fall camps run in half-day lengths for one or two days; Mini Bulls sessions are 3 hours, half day is 3–3.5 hours, full day is 6–6.5 hours, and extended day is 12 hours
New York Red Bulls Soccer Day Camps operate during Spring, Summer, and Fall, with early arrival and extended day options at select Summer locations. Mini Bulls Camp is targeted to players ages 4 to 5 years and focuses on physical literacy and ball awareness in a fun based play environment. Half-day and full-day skills camps focus on the introduction and mastery of ball skills through maximum ball contact, expert coaching, skill development, and inspiration. Extended Day follows the same curriculum as the Residential player camp for players who prefer to travel into the site each day and return home at night, and is designed for travel and select level players, covering advanced technical and tactical skills and challenging players technically, tactically, physically, and mentally.
Player camps are open registration and are not subject to tryout, while team camps are for groups of 10 or more players that sign up as a full team. Team camps use a flexible curriculum approach so that selected topics can be extensively covered and revisited based on the team’s ability level and rate of progress, with four core building blocks making up the training week and maximum ball contact, conditioning with the ball, and team building central to each area. The program’s mission states that New York Red Bulls camps help players continue their skill development while creating lifelong memories, with a focus on introduction and mastery of skills in a fun learning environment achieved through maximum ball contacts and expert coaching, and through the camp structure and connection to the professional game, an environment is created that keeps players invested in their own development long after the camp concludes.
The coaching staff includes professionally trained male and female coaches, and staff are CPR and First Aid qualified. Spring and Summer camps include a complimentary Red Bulls soccer ball and T-shirt, and each registration includes one complimentary ticket to a New York Red Bulls regular season home match. At select Summer camps, there may be a 1st Team Player Appearance and visits from the Red Bulls Street Team. Early registration and sibling discounts are offered, and all registrations are taken online.
Any sports organization can host a Soccer Skills Camp, and host organizations are required to provide an adequate field with bathroom facilities. Soccer Camp Hosting Opportunities follow a three-step process: pick a date, pick a time, and start promoting the camp. Red Bull New York Youth Programs list partnerships or strategic partnerships with various clubs and organizations, including Mountainside FC, Valley Stream Soccer Club, Brooklyn Italians SC, and Hub Soccer of Denville.
