Passion for Spices Kids and Teens Cooking Classes and Camps offers hands-on cooking experiences where participants make a variety of dishes from around the world. Specific activities include the Around The World Summer Cooking Camp, sessions such as Knife Skills 101, Timeless French Classics, Taste of Thai, Eat Like a Sardinian: Live to 100, Taste of Spain, making homemade fresh pasta, making tamales, wok cooking, and creating various classic sauces. The 2026 Around The World Cooking Camp includes Week Four: Farm To Table and Week Five: Culinary Teen Competition.

• Schedule: Each class runs for two hours.
• Price: $195 per person (Corporate Cooking Class for Deerfield: Taste of Italy: A Food and Wine Experience; total cost includes 15% gratuity).
All classes are hands-on and are taught by professional chefs who use sustainable cooking practices with sustainable and local food ingredients. The program’s classes are designed for participants to have an exclusive culinary experience from the food cultures of the Mediterranean, Latin, and Asian regions of the world. Around The World Summer Cooking Camp calls all chefs ages 7 to 16 years old to join in the kitchen for five weeks of food-related activities, where students explore global flavors while learning essential cooking techniques such as knife skills, measuring, seasoning, and teamwork in the kitchen, and campers use fresh, high-quality ingredients to prepare meals from scratch. The camp aims to build confidence, creativity, and an appreciation for food from around the world, and aims to inspire curiosity, healthy habits, and a lifelong love of cooking. The after school program is designed for kids and teens to enhance their culinary skills, with chef instructors covering fundamentals such as basic knife skills, reading recipes, and the importance of kitchen safety, and kids in the after school program enjoy a generous sample of every dish that they prepared. Cook at Home Cooking Classes provide online guidance and instruction to participants in the comfort of home and can cover basics of cooking, around the world cooking, or advanced level techniques. Timeless French Classics is taught by award winning chef Kathleen Sanderson, and the leadership name associated with the program is May Abraham Fridel.
