The program also includes parent involvement, community events, and school-wide events.

• Schedule: Flexible programming from 6:45am-6:00pm, with full day and half day options as well as add-ons.

Congregation Beth El’s Early Childhood Center states that it is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and respectful environment where the youngest members of the Jewish community can begin to grow and develop within the framework of Jewish values and traditions, with a vision to offer a quality, developmentally appropriate program that actively engages and excites young children. The program notes excellent student-teacher ratios, small class sizes, and a personalized program to meet family needs, supported by new scheduling options that offer flexibility to families. It lists a Student Support Advocate on staff, experienced teachers, and a Voorhees Township Police Officer on site during ECC hours, along with enhanced health and safety measures due to Covid-19. The program uses the Remini app to support communication between parents and teachers and offers quality after school programming, as well as a gift synagogue membership for ECC families. The curriculum emphasizes development of the whole child socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically, and spiritually within a framework rich in Jewish values and traditions, with learning activities planned to match each child’s developmental stage. The program describes a balance between individual and group activities that emphasize positive social interaction, a balance between structured and “free choice” time guided and modeled by staff, and a balance between a structured schedule and flexibility that allows opportunities for self exploration and respect. An academic component is integrated into the curriculum through music, games, songs, manipulatives, and enriching and stimulating activities, and Jewish holidays, values, and Shabbat are described as important parts of the curriculum and woven into daily and weekly activities. The school community celebrates together through cooking, music, special guests, parent involvement, community events, and school-wide events. The facility includes three outdoor playgrounds, two indoor play spaces, and state-of-the-art, large, bright classrooms.
