Today's Learning Center

Today's Learning Center uses Creative Curriculum, a research-based, play-based approach where children learn through hands-on, child-led activities. The program includes learning centers where children choose from areas such as blocks, art, dramatic play, science, and reading, with teachers guiding learning through questions, conversations, and encouragement. The center focuses on play-based learning that includes real-world connections, such as using blocks for math, dress-up for empathy, and art for problem-solving.

• Ages: 18 months–Pre-K
• Schedule: Open Monday–Friday, with full-day hours from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and school-day hours from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with options for 3, 4, or 5 days per week

Today's Learning Center describes itself as a place where toddlers and preschoolers grow, explore, and feel at home. Today's Learning Center reports that it has been a trusted part of the Voorhees community for years and describes itself as a neighborhood preschool with the warmth of a family center. The program is approved by Voorhees Public Schools and is an official preschool partner with the district. It states that it is an approved preschool facility with Voorhees Public Schools and that it is affiliated with the Voorhees School District.

One parent, Aniwaya, describes Today's Learning Center as “an amazing Daycare” and says the staff give advice and take actions for the benefit of his daughter, noting that as a single father they have helped him every step of the way. Another parent, Dianna W., shares that her daughter’s first school experience involved separation from her mother, and that the staff were kind and understanding and helped her work through it until she loved going to school and wanted to attend on weekends. A third parent, Michelle D., says the teachers are enthusiastic, kind, and greatly involved in the development of every child in their classroom, and that as a teacher herself she experiences it as a warm place to work where children pick up on that feeling.
