Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey Summer Camp (The OVAL Day Camp & Camp Hoover Sleepaway Camp) includes activities such as hiking, trail cleaning, cleaning sites, making small repairs, painting, and carpentry projects. Camp sign-up includes guidance through the Girl Scout registration process for those who are not current Girl Scouts, and financial assistance is available for registered Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey members and can be applied for during the registration process in UltraCamp.
Tours and Open Houses are available and may include tours, activities, and virtual meetings. The organization notes that purchasing Mabel's Labels supports the camps, and three camps offer facilities to host family gatherings, camping trips, weddings, or special events. Corporations and partnerships are welcome, with an interest in developing lasting relationships.
Staff hold certifications ranging from CPR/First Aid to Mental Health First Aid to Lifeguarding at no cost to families.
