About
West Windsor Tennis Program offers tennis lessons for youth and adults, including group, private, semi-private, and private group tennis lessons. The program also includes junior morning tennis camp, junior late afternoon programs, junior after school and Saturday classes, and adult weekday and weeknight drill and play sessions, along with racquet stringing services and USTA Net Generation activities.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Spring, Summer, and Fall sessions with junior weekday after school and Saturday classes, junior morning camp and late afternoon options in summer, and adult weekday morning, weekday, and weeknight drill and play programs
All lessons are directed by experienced PTR certified professional tennis coaches Sat Jagtap and Sunil Jagtap, who are PTR certified professional tennis coaches. The stated goal of the program is to create an environment that makes tennis fun and enjoyable for participants while promoting fitness, exercise, and competition, and to help each player reach their full potential through instruction, guidance, and discipline. The program uses appropriate tennis balls such as Orange, Green, Yellow, QST 36, QST 60, CONTROL +, and COACH based on level, and it requires tennis sneakers and shirts to be worn on the courts, with only tennis allowed to be played. Registration is online only through West Windsor Recreation Community Pass, with no membership fees, open enrollment for participants from any location, first-come first-serve class registration with wait list options, and coaches reserving the right to move a player to a different group if they are not in the correct level class when space allows. Proper tennis etiquette is expected at all times, and TOWNSHIP CODE 122-17 prohibits commercial use of township-owned tennis court facilities and any private or group lessons by coaches or instructors not employed by West Windsor Township.
