New Jersey Workshop for the Arts offers one-on-one music lessons in piano, voice, strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion. It also offers Music FunTime, a preschool group class, as well as ensembles and orchestras that include Saturday orchestras, jazz bands, chamber winds, guitar groups, recorder groups, and the NJWA Philharmonic. Other offerings include a summer day camp with music, art, dance, and more, plus visual arts classes and music production.

- Summer Arts Workshop — 4 and up · Summer day camp · A Westfield summer day camp full of music, art, dance and more.
- Music Connection — A scholarship program pairing music therapy with personalized instruction for students with disabilities.
- Visual Arts — Drawing, painting, arts & crafts and art history classes.
- Music Production — Learn recording, mixing, beat-making and songwriting.

About the provider
New Jersey Workshop for the Arts has been serving students since 1972. It is a non-profit community arts school, and students study with professional musicians, artists, and educators. The program performs and brings concerts and workshops to veterans, seniors, libraries, schools, and community organizations across Union County.
Financial aid and scholarships are available. The Music Connection serves students with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities. Parents and guardians must notify NJWA in writing if they do not consent to the use of photos or videos of participants in publicly released media.
