Its mission is to enrich lives by providing opportunities to develop creative talents and encourage a greater appreciation of the arts through both instruction and performance. Music FunTime is described as the start of a lifetime love of music for children ages 3–5. The Music Connection is a scholarship program for children with disabilities that uses a combination of music therapy and personalized instruction on an instrument for students with autism spectrum disorder or other disabilities. The organization has been dedicated to helping children, adults, and senior citizens explore and participate in the arts throughout the year with private and group instruction, performing ensembles, summer camps, and related programs. The program is made possible in part by funds from the Union County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
