Westfield Area YMCA Youth Programs and Camps

Westfield Area YMCA Youth Programs and Camps offers Summer Day Camps and Summer Camp, youth and adult swim lessons, youth sports classes and leagues, and teen programs. The program includes activities such as basketball clinics, taekwondo, dance classes, group fitness classes, water exercise classes, racquetball, and use of a gymnasium, indoor pool, fitness center, free weight equipment, and strength and cardio equipment. Families can also access early learning for infants and toddlers, preschool in full- and half-day options, full-day kindergarten, kindergarten wraparound, Kids Club (child watch), before care and after care, birthday parties, open family swim, open lap swim, an outdoor playground, a playground, a gross motor skills room, a multipurpose space, a sauna, and a steam room, as well as lifeguard training courses and special/adaptive needs programs.

Community involvement connected to these programs includes a Cranford YMCA Bathing Suit Drive from May 26, 2026, 5am through August 22, 2026, 4pm, with items distributed through member agencies and social services to those in need, and a Cranford YMCA Vitalant Blood Drive on July 16, 2026, from 9am to 12pm, which is described as one of the easiest ways to give back to the community. Additional events include Puppy Yoga with Home for Good Dogs Rescue on July 12, 2026, from 2–3pm.
