Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeastern Nevada

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeastern Nevada offers summer camp, STEM, before and after school-age care, youth sports, special events, and community functions. It also offers pre-school and childcare for infants through five years old. The STEM program focuses on science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and movie making.

About the provider

The program was founded in 1999 by Al Bernarda. It operated out of trailers at Southside Elementary School for the first twelve years, and a new 17,200 square foot club opened in August 2013. A new Teen Center opened in October 2019 for ages 12-18, the Nevada Gold Mines Early Learning Center was added in September 2021, and the club changed its name to Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeastern Nevada in 2025.
