Community Services Agency Head Start and Early Head Start

Community Services Agency Head Start and Early Head Start offers Head Start for children 3 to 5 years old and Early Head Start for children from 6 weeks to their third birthday. Head Start runs late August to June with half-day, full-day, and extended day options. Early Head Start runs year-round, Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

About the provider

For over 60 years, Community Services Agency has provided assistance to those most in need in the community. Its mission is to empower individuals and families to become self-sufficient through advocacy, results-based programs, and community partnerships in Northern Nevada. CSA also offers volunteer opportunities for all of its programs and events.

Head Start accepts applications year-round. Full-day Head Start requires parents/guardians to be working, in training, or attending school. Early Head Start provides infant and toddler care at no cost to low-income families and requires parents to work, train, or attend school. Head Start is for children 3-5 years old. Early Head Start serves children aged 6 weeks to their third birthday.
