About the provider

Arts for All Nevada was founded in 1986 under the name Very Special Arts Nevada and renamed itself Arts for All Nevada in 2015. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Reno that offers fine art classes to the public, implements art programs in the schools, and stewards the historic Lake Mansion as a community center for the exploration of arts and culture. It offers free partial scholarships based on financial need for art workshops, classes, and camps, and it offers programs in Reno, Gardnerville, Lake Mansion, and Sparks for individuals with disabilities.

While its emphasis is on those who have a disability, are disadvantaged, at-risk, or underserved by the arts, it recognizes that every individual in the community has a role to play in the arts. Many programs are free of charge. Partial scholarships are available to children and adults for arts workshops, classes, and camps. Maximum scholarship amount per individual is $50 per year; only one request per family per quarter.
