About the provider
Max McGarr is the Head Professor at Renzo Gracie Academy’s Reno location. He is a third degree black belt directly under Renzo Gracie and John Danaher, a two-time cancer survivor, and a two-time gold medal PanAm champion. He spent over 16 years training directly with Renzo Gracie and John Danaher in New York City and taught fundamentals, advanced gi, no-gi submission grappling, and MMA at the flagship Renzo Gracie Academy in NYC for over a decade.
Take a free trial class. Adults: free 30-minute intro class followed by a free regular Fundamentals class; rental gi included for the free class. Kids + Teens ages 5-13 may take a one-week free trial of Kids + Teens classes within seven consecutive days. No long-term contracts. No belt promotion fees. Unlimited classes included. 30-days notice to cancel or freeze monthly dues. Monthly dues include access to daily classes, open mats, and special sessions. Adults and kids have one-time enrollment fees, and kids/teens who wear adult sizes pay the adult enrollment fee.
