The Wedge Ceramics Studio offers private lessons for ages 4 and up, plus Intro to Pottery monthly classes for people with no experience or for a refresher. The studio also offers Date Night Saturday, a weekend hand-building class every other month, and gift certificates.

- Private Lessons — ages 4 and up · $150–$180
- Intro to Pottery — Tuesday afternoons, Tuesday evenings, Thursday afternoons, Thursday evenings · $220 · Monthly classes for those with no experience or for a refresher. Classes are limited to 8 participants. Includes everything needed, including the apron.
- Date Night Saturday — Last Saturday of every month, 6-8pm · $150 · Offered as part of the 2026 class schedule. Classes are limited to 8 participants.
- Weekend hand-building class — Every other month · Listed in the 2026 class schedule.

About the provider
The Wedge Ceramics Studio was started in September 2011 by Sutter and Samantha Stremmel. Its mission is to provide a place where clay, creativity, and community meet. The studio is listed as an integral part of a growing arts community in Reno, and Mike Hilker is a Boy Scout merit badge counselor for ceramics, among other merit badges.
- Gift Certificate — $20–$220
Private lessons require advanced registration. Private lessons are for groups of up to 20 participants ages 4 and up. Work may take 2-3 weeks to be fired. Classes fill up fast and often months in advance. For 2026, classes must be registered for online and the first class must be attended.
