Youth Wildlife Conservation Experience (YWCE) is the annual youth component of the Sheep Show and includes wildlife conservation presentations, outdoor career seminars, and hands-on educational stations. The Tracks Program gives youth ages 12-17 a Tracks Program Card at registration, visits to seven participating exhibitors, and entry into a raffle for special prizes.

- General schedule: The 2027 YWCE takes place February 4-6, 2027. School groups attend a private experience on February 4 and 5. The program opens to the public on February 6. Event runs from 9 am to 3 pm. On February 6, public hours are 10 am-4 pm.
About the provider
The program has taken place over the past 15 years and has impacted 22,496 youth. It is run by WSF Youth Education Coordinator Dr. Ryan Brock. The goal is simple, to excite and inspire the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts.

A parent who brings a youth up to age 15 to the YWCE can register with a promo code to get a day pass to the Sheep Show expo. Free youth raffle tickets are given at registration. Must be present to win for the Tracks Program raffle.
