USA Kenkojuku Shotokan – Takahashi Karate Dojo offers training in Traditional Shotokan Karate. The program includes martial arts training led by an experienced Shotokan instructor.

Sensei Masakazu Takahashi began his karate training under Master Tomosaburo Okano in 1961 and traveled to America in 1971 to begin his teaching career. He is the head of the U.S.A Kenkojuku Karate Association, holds the rank of 8th degree Black Belt, and is the highest ranking Kenkojuku karate master in the United States. The Takahashi Karate Dojos have been established for more than 35 years. Takahashi Karate Dojo is recognized worldwide and is described as the leading school for Traditional Shotokan Karate in New York State. Classes are personally instructed by Sensei Masakazu Takahashi, and all martial arts styles are welcome, with classes available for children, adults, and seniors. The dojo is the USA Headquarters of the Kenkojuku Association and offers unlimited classes each month with no annual contracts required, a year-round schedule, and a free lesson option. The leadership of the program traces back through Master Tomosaburo Okano, a direct student of Master Gichin Funakoshi and his son Gigo Funakoshi; Master Gichin Funakoshi is the founder of modern day karate. The mission statement notes that Sensei Masakazu Takahashi has devoted his life to mastering his art and teaching Traditional Shotokan Karate, and that to Master Gichin Funakoshi, karate was more than mere physical training, but an education for the mind and spirit.
