Montessori Children's Room

Montessori Children's Room offers a theme-based summer camp program that includes activities such as yoga, cooking, foreign languages, dance, art, Super Soccer Stars, and gymnastics. The program includes a variety of movement, creative, and practical life activities for children.

The Montessori Children's Room is a private educational center whose program and facilities have been continually expanded and improved to better serve the needs of the children. It is dedicated to providing a quality education with high academic standards in a warm loving environment, with education influenced by the Montessori philosophy in all aspects of the child’s experience. The program focuses on academics, music, drama, art, movement, and practical life skills, and continues its dedication to helping each child achieve its potential by nurturing and stimulating the union of mind and body through these areas. The Montessori Children's Room grew from a group of parents who banded together in 1968, and two years later the school moved to its present location next to Armonk’s Whippoorwill Park.
