Baldwinsville Theatre Guild Youth Programs

Baldwinsville Theatre Guild Youth Programs include youth productions, youth theater programs and camps, and workshops for artists of all ages. Participants take part in producing plays and musicals and can volunteer behind the scenes to help make magic happen. The programs include both performance and technical opportunities for community members.

The Baldwinsville Theatre Guild was founded in 1942 and has staged productions for more than 80 years. It is the oldest continually performing non-professional community theater group in New York State. The guild has long focused on education and community engagement and works to build appreciation for theater across the Central New York region. It offers opportunities for volunteers in acting, stagecraft, and production. The organization has an annual scholarship program that has been awarded to area high school graduates since 1969. Baldwinsville Theatre Guild is designated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and has built one of the largest costume collections in the state for its productions. Its leadership team includes Artistic Director Adam Shatraw, Managing Director Kathryn Woods, Co-Presidents of the Board of Directors Chris Spring and Joe Spado, Secretary Marty Bullis, Treasurer James Mitchell, Members at Large Kate Kisselstein, Jim Tapia, Kathleen Hall, Technical Director Sydney Woods, and Education Director Ceara Windhausen.
