Ballston Area Community Center Youth Programs

Ballston Area Community Center (BACC) Youth Programs includes Universal Prekindergarten, School Age Childcare, Summer Programs, a Teen Program, and Friday Night Fun: Open Gym. The Teen Program includes sports, games, board games, video games, open gym, crafts, homework contest, and special program nights. Friday Night Fun: Open Gym includes basketball, volleyball, and other sports and exercises.

Programs

• Universal Prekindergarten Program (UPK) — Eligible child is four years of age on or before December 1st or otherwise eligible to attend kindergarten following the school year; resides within the Ballston Spa Central School District · Monday through Friday, 9:00 am-2:00 pm · State-funded program taught by certified teachers with training in early education. Offered at the main facility at 20 Malta Ave. Optional wraparound childcare is available for an additional fee.
• School Age Childcare Program (SACC) — School-age children · Before school: 6:30 am-9:00 am; after school: 3:00 pm-6:00 pm · Before- and after-school childcare program with satellite sites at Gordon Creek, Wood Road, and Malta Ave. Elementary. Enrollment and tuition information are listed for the 2026/2027 school year.
• Summer Programs — Youth ages 4 to 18 · Listed as a BACC program category.
• Teen Program — 6th-9th grade students in Saratoga County · Every Monday, 6:30 pm-8:30 pm · Fun and interactive drop-off experience with sports, games, board games, video games, open gym, crafts, homework contest, and special program nights. Free for everyone.
• Friday Night Fun: Open Gym — All ages; children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent · Every Friday, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm · Open gym with basketball, volleyball, and other sports and exercises. A one-time participation agreement is required upon entry.
