About
Ballston Area Community Center Youth Programs include activities such as Kids Only Chocolate Fest with chocolate fountains to dip treats, a screening of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, arts and crafts, kickball in the gym, and small games with prizes. The programs also offer Friday Night Fun with Open Gym, basketball, volleyball, sports and exercises, as well as Teen Night with video games like Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Wii Sports and others, board games, open gym time for teens, activities and crafts such as bracelets, slime and paintings, trivia nights, karaoke, Dungeons and Dragons, and dodgeball tournaments. Additional offerings include a Monthly Homework Contest where completed homework earns raffle tickets for an end-of-month prize drawing, a Panera Fundraiser Night, Universal Pre-Kindergarten, School Aged Childcare, a Summer Day Program, a Summer Travel Program, a Teen Program, Community Programs, and a BACC Intro to Pickleball Class.

• Schedule: Kids Only Chocolate Fest runs Friday, February 6th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm; Friday Night Fun Open Gym runs every Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm; Teen Night runs every Monday from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm; BACC Full Day Care is offered on Monday, February 16, 2026 from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm; before and after school program hours are 6:45 am to 9:00 am and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
• Price: Kids Only Chocolate Fest costs $20 per child with registration non-refundable; BACC Full Day Care on Monday, February 16, 2026 costs $75 per child.
Kids Only Chocolate Fest is a drop-off-only event for children ages 5–12, and kids will not be allowed in the doors until 6:30 pm and must be picked up promptly at 8:30 pm. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent for Open Gym, and a one-time participation agreement is required upon entry for Open Gym. Teen Night is open to all 6th–9th grade students in Saratoga County and is free for everyone, and teens help decide what programming they want for special program nights. Enrollment capacities are dictated by the Office of Children and Family Services, and enrollment requirements for full day care include a complete BACC application, current physical and immunization forms, payment of a registration fee, and payment of the first month’s tuition. The Ballston Area Community Center Program does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or level of income, and all reasonable accommodations will be made to include children with mental or physical challenges.
The Ballston Area Community Center’s mission is to provide essential community services, programs, support and projects that enhance the social, emotional and recreational development of youth and families of the Ballston Area. The Ballston Area Community Center is supported in part by funding from the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, Saratoga County Youth Bureau, Village of Ballston Spa, Town of Milton, and Town of Ballston. Jessica Bradley serves as Gordon Creek Child Care Director and childcare director at the Ballston Area Community Center and holds a bachelor’s degree in childhood education from the College of Saint Rose.
