World of Discovery Summer Day Camp offers aquatic adventures, swimming, sports, and sports competitions, along with nature hikes and cultural arts. Campers also take part in trips, a variety of adventures, and planned rainy day activities.
• Ages: 4–15 years old
The program states that all children enrolled will build new skills, discover new things, make new friends, and realize a newfound confidence. Through structured programming, campers are encouraged to participate and excel in the activities that interest them the most, with positive reinforcement and encouragement as the cornerstones of all programming. The camp offers both group and individual instruction, and children are generally grouped according to age.
The camp maintains a high ratio of counselors to campers and is very selective about its summer camp staff. To qualify for a position, counselors must meet stringent standards and qualifications and must demonstrate a total commitment and caring for children.
