About
School of Rock Briarcliff Manor offers performance-based music education that combines weekly private music lessons with weekly group rehearsals and group music lessons. Students take part in one-on-one instruction, play classic rock songs, and learn fundamentals like chords, rhythm, song structure, melody, and dynamics, including through play with simplified rock instruments, hand percussion, and other tools to learn rhythm patterns and music syntax. The program also includes songwriting, recording and production, and live performances, including performing at local Briarcliff Manor music venues and other NY rock venues, with some students joining a House Band that performs live shows throughout the year.
