About
Neglia Conservatory of Ballet offers classical ballet training through ballet classes, performances, and international summer intensive programs. Students can take part in activities such as youth auditions, professional auditions, CityDance, ZOOM Classes, and The Nutcracker performance, which has been held annually since 2009 at Shea’s Performing Arts Center and is described as a holiday tradition in Western New York and Southern Ontario and a delight for all ages. Neglia teaches over 100 youth and adult students each year at its conservatory and offers small class sizes, personalized attention, dedicated instructors, and performance opportunities.

The Neglia Conservatory of Ballet has been nurturing dancers of all ages and abilities since 1994 and is celebrating 30 years of ballet in Buffalo. Its mission is to preserve and make exceptional artistry accessible to all through classical ballet training, performances, and community engagement. Neglia Ballet Artists enriches the region’s culture and preserves the art of ballet by offering accessible performances, ballet classes, international summer intensive programs, and free workshops for underserved youth. Neglia Ballet is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to giving back to the community, and its support base helps keep programming accessible to anyone interested in trying ballet, training seriously, or attending performances.
