Town of Camillus Parks & Recreation Programs offers access to 12 parks that include athletic facilities, playgrounds, picnic areas and shelters, walk, hike, and bike trails, open green space, an Erie Canal beach with swimming, and a splash pad. The program also offers a large number of programs and events, along with public skate and public swim opportunities. All parks operate as carry in/carry out trash areas.
• Schedule: Office hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 am–4:30 pm; pavilion rentals are accepted by phone Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–4:15 pm
The program is led by Director of Parks & Recreation Eric A. Bacon, with recreation staff members Sara Young and Savannah Kraus. Additional staff include Senior Center Coordinator Teresa Roth, Erie Canal Park Coordinator Lisa Wiles, Town Shop staff members Debra Ancillotti and Harrison Rein, and park staff members Don Klackzo, Jeremy Cantello, Matthew Crim, and Paul Barbaglia. The department states that it offers one of the best Senior Center and Youth Centers in the area and partners with a wide array of organizations to provide services to the community. It also notes that all town offices will be closed on 2/16/26 for President's Day.
