Vanderbilt Museum Education Programs take place within the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum & Reichert Planetarium, which combines a mansion, marine and natural history museum, planetarium, and park. Exhibition and program themes focus on Long Island’s Gold Coast Era and on William K. Vanderbilt II’s marine, natural history, and ethnographic collections. Planetarium programming focuses on scientific knowledge and uses state-of-the-art entertainment.
