Summit Child Care offers Summit Summer Camp with activities such as foosball, magnetic tiles, foursquare, dance parties, crafts, electronics, toys, kick ball, swings, a play set, road hockey, a sand box, tag, flag football, soccer, and basketball. Camp days also include grilled hotdogs, healthy snacks, time to get fit with friends, time to participate in enrichment activities, and structured time to complete their homework. Campers take part in an off campus field trip by bus, a walking field trip to a local park, and visits from an ice-cream truck.
• Ages: 5–13 years old
• Schedule: Summit Summer Camp runs every week throughout the summer Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM, starting on Monday June 29th and ending on Friday August 28th.
• Price: Option 1: Full-time camp, M–F, $290 per week (Tuesday field trip and ice-cream Fridays included). Option 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, $217 (includes Tuesday field trip). Option 3: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, $183 (includes ice-cream Friday). Option 4: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, $180. Off campus field trip by bus requires an additional $37 pre-paid in weekly registration, and the ice-cream truck is $3 pre-paid in weekly registration. A registration fee of $40 is processed upon registration.
Summit Child Care, LLC is a specially licensed program with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and is celebrating 16 years of great summer memories. The program has a spacious, convenient location with large and safe grounds on which to play and an organized curriculum of activities. Summit Child Care is open to all children entering kindergarten through middle school for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year and offers care Monday through Friday before school, after school, for AM and PM kindergarten, on snow days, during school vacations, scheduled Shenendehowa closings, and summer camp.

Summit Child Care, LLC is led by Executive Director and founder & owner Tracey Fraser and Managing Partner Jeff Fraser, with site and program leadership that includes David Boyle (Site Supervisor), Christina King (Karigon & Orenda), Jane Cavanaugh (High School East), Jordan Moffre (Before School & Afterschool Care), Garrett Hedge (K-wrap & After School Care), Tess Forcucci (K-Wrap & Afterschool Care), Meghan Hepfer (After School Care), Michael Sgambati (After School Care), Laurie Leirey (After School Care), and Amber Gjata (After School Care). The team also includes Ashlee Treglia, an English teacher at Mechanicville Central School District, and Beth Laquidara, a Spanish teacher at Mechanicville Central School District. All Summit team members are Shenendehowa employees unless otherwise noted.
