About
KidStrong East Rochester is a kids' development center where children take part in movement, obstacle courses, tug of war, tire flips, puzzles, and games. Each class is coach-led and includes activities that blend physical challenges with mental tasks.

KidStrong East Rochester is built around science-based training that focuses on strong bodies, strong minds, and strong character. Its curriculum combines physical activity, cognitive development, and life skills, with programming specifically designed to improve kids' emotional, mental, and physical skills. The KidStrong curriculum focuses on three pillars: Character, Physical, and Cognitive, with age-based classes that are developmentally appropriate, fun, and challenging.
Programming is designed by child development experts and led by highly-trained coaches. Fun, coach-led games are designed to build confidence and resilience, and kids learn to compete and develop grit through games like tug of war and tire flips. Strong Body activities promote balance, coordination, strength, and agility, while Strong Mind activities use puzzles, games, and mental challenges to work on creativity, problem solving, and mental development. Strong Character activities use games to work on teamwork, mental toughness, and sportsmanship.
In each 45-minute class, warm-ups and skill development are combined into a foundational block that is practiced every week. Kids work through complex skills to stimulate brain function and enhance cognitive development, and physical activity is blended with character and cognitive coaching through obstacle courses and challenges. Skill mastery is developed through repeated training and testing.
Classes start and end with a KidStrong affirmation. Students practice social greeting by shaking hands, making eye contact, and saying their name. Parents join class on the floor with kids under 4 years old. Each week includes an award ceremony recognizing kids and parents and celebrating progress.
