About

Great Falls Council Scouting Programs includes Cub Scouts for girls and boys in kindergarten through 5th grade and their families, Scouts BSA for youth ages 10 to 18, Venturers for youth ages 14 to 20, and Explorers for youth ages 10 to 20. The program also includes camping by day camp and overnight, plus high adventure for Scouts BSA, Venturing, or Exploring members.

Programs

  • Cub Scouts — Kids in grades kindergarten to 5th grade and their families; girls and boys in grades kindergarten to 5th grade · Packs meet monthly; Dens meet weekly
  • Scouts BSA — Youth ages 10 to 18; welcomes girls and boys ages 10 to 18 · Troops meet several times each month during the school year, usually on a set night of the week
  • Venturers — Youth ages 14 to 20
  • Explorers — Youth ages 10 to 20
  • Camping — All Scouts · By day camp and overnight
  • High Adventure — All Scouts BSA, Venturing, or Exploring members

About the provider

Great Falls Council Scouting Programs states that its mission is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Its community involvement includes the Scouting for Food drive that benefits community food pantries across the region, service projects, community service, and staffing for Cub Scout activities such as Pinewood Derby or swimming instruction.

Safe, fun, educational, age-appropriate programs for all youth ages 5 to 20; youth do not need to be a registered Scout to attend Adventure Fest 2026; all adults involved with Scouting must pass a background check and take Youth Protection and Barriers to Abuse Training every year; Cub Scouting practices Two-Deep Leadership.
