YMCA of Long Island Summer Day Camp includes activities in Adventure, Aquatics, Creative Arts, Camp Traditions, Special Activities and Trips, and Summer Learning. The program offers a variety of camp types, including Kiddie, Youth, Pre-Teen, Teen, Sports Camp, and Counselor-in-Training (CIT).
• Ages: 3–15 years old
• Schedule: Core camp days run 9am–4pm with optional extended hours from 7am–9am and 4pm–6pm, offered in multiple two-week sessions from June 29 through August 21, 2026, plus Camp Closeout options the week of August 24, 2026
• Price: PLUS 5-month payment plan. Pricing will be available during enrollment process.
The YMCA of Long Island Summer Day Camp marks the YMCA’s 175th anniversary. The YMCA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. Camp Open House events include tours and Q&A and require registration. Camp Closeout week is available for children in K–5th grade, with specific dates listed for Huntington YMCA. The program also features a Y Guy Winter Coloring Book and a “Press Play on Summer” video.
