YMCA of Long Island Youth Programs and Camps offers activities such as Holiday Camp with Sports & Games, STEM, Arts & Crafts, Swimming, Special Theme Activities and more. The program also includes Summer Splash Swim Lessons, free preschool swim lesson demos, regular swim lessons, a preschool program, and a Before and After School Program. Additional offerings connected to the YMCA include lifeguard certification, Pilates reformer workouts, group fitness classes, 5K Run/Walk events, and positive alternative activities, as well as stress and anger management programs.

The YMCA at Glen Cove has been serving children, teens, families, and seniors for more than 50 years. Child Watch staff are CPR and First Aid certified. YMCA Family Services staff includes licensed social workers, licensed mental health counselors, credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselors, a psychiatrist, and a physician’s assistant. YMCA Family Services provides individual counseling, group counseling, crisis intervention services, drug screenings, family therapy, women-only group counseling sessions, and a DWI Track for first offenders.
The YMCA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. YMCA Family Services provides a comprehensive menu of treatment and prevention services that promote the emotional wellness of individuals, families, and the community at large. The YMCA of Long Island states that it addresses both physical and emotional wellness of the individual, family, and community, and works to strengthen families and communities through programs that foster Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.
The YMCA of Long Island offers a Child Watch program with staff who are CPR and First Aid certified. YMCA members have access to YMCA360, an on-demand digital platform that includes select Les Mills workouts. YMCA of Long Island provides financial assistance for those who may not be able to afford the full cost of programs and services. The YMCA at Glen Cove has a new play space provided in partnership with KaBoom and the New York Islanders. The YMCA of Long Island partners with school districts in Nassau and Suffolk counties to support student learning, and proceeds from the YMCA East Hampton RECenter 5K Run/Walk benefit local individuals and families in need with access to the Y’s healthy living, youth programs, and support services.
